The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce and the South Metro Denver Small Business Development
Center have named the finalists for their 2009 awards to be presented at the 24th Annual Small Business of the Year
Award Luncheon on Thursday, May 21.
The following are nominees:
• Small Business of the Year — Mendel and Company Construction, H.M.
Brown and Associates, Landmark Environment, The Wildlife Experience, Luminous Recycling, LifeHealth, Felsburg Holt and Ullevig,
Woodman Landscape Design, Fisher Associates Architects and Engineers, Cap Logistics and Luna Roasters Gourmet Coffee &
Tea.
• Emerging Business of the Year — Namaste Solar,
Energistics Systems and ecoprojex.
• Brian R. Vogt Community
Leader of the Year — Theresa Sanford of Cherry Creek Funding, Bud Ahearn of CH2M Hill, Lisa Schomp of Ralph Schomp Automotive,
Denny O’Malley of Craig Hospital and Carol Carlson of August-Gram Consulting.
The awards luncheon will be held at Comedy Works South, 5345 Landmark Place in Greenwood Village. Individual tickets
